Newborn photography by Ann Wo (London newborn photographer)

I have been working as a professional photographer in a high street studio for more than four years and after having my son in 2010 decided to go freelance. I can honestly say it has been one of the best decisions of my life. I now specialise in newborn photography.

I love creating bespoke portraits, meaning we would discuss and come up with something you really like – maybe a bit of vintage style, maybe more modern bright bold colours, or maybe you just want some naturally beautiful photos of your family, say .. having picnic at some nice park or field or even at your garden! Talk to me and we will create something truly unique!

My packages are simple – you get ALL good digital images, so you can do whatever you want with them – print, frame, share on facebook, etc. I don’t offer canvases, prints, frames etc, you will have to do it yourself.

Session options:

Your home – I come with my lights, backgrounds, props (depending on type of photography)and set up at your biggest room. Sessions like that are perfect for newborn and pregnancy photos, if you are not keen on travelling and prefer privacy of your home. It would take around 2-4 hours, sometimes longer if it is a newborn baby session.

Location

I’m always on a hunt for new places for photo shoots.  Location sessions are great for family photos, especially with bigger kids. I prefer to arrange them in the evening, that’s when the sun is low and light is nice and soft. For example, summer months –  we would start around six o’clock.

If it is a newborn photography session that you’d like, then ideally it has to be done before baby is four weeks old. This is when they are really sleepy and it is easier to pose them. I have a large collection of props for tiny babies and this is my favourite type of photography!
